Hello and welcome.

My name is Martyn Hasluck and I am a photographer based in the West Country.

I feel privileged to live in such a wonderful part of the country and can be on the South Coast of Devon or amidst the wonderful and ever changing vistas of Dartmoor in a matter of minutes. A short drive and I can be down in Cornwall, up in Somerset or exploring the Jurassic Coast of Dorset.

I can often sit for hours waiting for that short lived but magical moment and it is these moments I try to capture. For me photography is about capturing more than just an image but a mood within that image.

What’s in the bag?

Over the years I have owned mainly Canon gear but all that changed when I upgraded to a digital SRL. My feet are now firmly in the Nikon camp and I shoot with a full frame Nikon D700 and Lee Filters as I try to get my images as good as I can in camera leaving me little or no editing on the computer later.
