Tried to get out to Manaton this morning as I wanted to shoot Becky Falls in the snow, the only problem was I couldn’t get there. I hit sheet ice on a shallow slope and took about 50 yards to come to a halt, bearing in mind I was only travelling at 10mph to start with I thought it best to turn around before I became stranded.
It was on my return I saw this gate and shot this from the car window. It took me near an hour to get back and I feel lucky to have got out at all, i’m glad I turned around when I did.
